Featured Session

Scaling Up Next-Generation, Non-Toxic, Low-Cost Potassium Carbonate Carbon Capture Technology

Wednesday, November 18, 2026 · 12:00 – 12:30

A close look at how advanced solvent-based potassium carbonate (KC8) capture compares to standard amine systems — covering commercial scale-up potential, project-level engineering and economics, and early operating results from a 5-tpd pilot plant on power-plant flue gases.

Session Takeaways
  • Evaluating the commercial scale-up potential and performance history of advanced solvent-based potassium carbonate applications
  • Analyzing project-level engineering considerations and comparative economics of next-generation KC8 technology versus standard amine systems
  • Presenting initial pilot plant design findings and operational results from a 5-tpd facility evaluating power plant flue gases
